Feeling Somewhat God-like

Hello Out There.

This is my first blog and I’m a little scared.  Not exactly sure about this…but I’m always up for an adventure!  I’m a retired school psychologist.  I’m a wife and mom.  I’m a spiritual person.  I am a children’s book writer.   I’m going to share what I hope for, what I know, and what I think.  Please join me for an exchange of ideas, for mutual empowerment, for inspiration, and for fun!    Wishing you Peace, Joy and Love.  Dr. Aquarius

I wrote this upon the creation of a children’s book character…an Irish Wolfhound named O’Toole.  Hope you like it.  I’ll share more in later blogs and would love to hear from you.

A Glimpse of God’s Love

Nancy Dort Rossow, Ph.D.

March, 2011

I woke up today and felt so eager with anticipation to get back to my book character, my creation, my dog O’Toole.  Last night I had to leave him in order to go to bed and get my needed rest.  He has just been born in my imagination and is taking form and shape right before my eyes on the computer.  I already like O’Toole and can’t wait to see what he will do, think and be.  He makes me smile and laugh.  I am getting great pleasure in the act of  creating him so that he might bring joy to others.   I feel blessed to have this glimpse into the pleasure and pure enjoyment God must have when He creates.  Each one of us is His favorite.  Each one of us is His joy.  Each one of us is His Love.  Thanks God for the peek.

About ndrossowauthor

As long as I can remember I have written - poems, observations, stories. Then graduate school, marriage, raising a family, and work occupied my life 100% of the time, and my writing for pleasure took a back seat. Now, I'm back. Retirement from my professional life as a school psychologist, and university professor, grown children, and an empty nest have freed me to follow my passion. I write on topics at the intersection of psychology and spirituality. My debut novel, A DEEP PLACE OF GRACE will be released soon. I My wonderful husband of nearly 40+years encourages me and my God sustains me.
